STRIPES2000 is the third meeting in the series entitled "Stripes and high Tc superconductivity" , after the previous ones held in Dec 1996, and June 1998.

The University of Rome La Sapienza hosted the third International Conference on Stripes and high Tc superconductivity, during Sept 24 - 30, 2000, in the University campus located at the Rome downtown.

The conference was chaired by Antonio Bianconi with Alex Müller as honorary chairman
